Nidec’s high precision gear reducers are essential in medical imaging systems to ensure smooth, precise, and quiet operation. Nidec’s Planetary Gear Reducers features high stiffness for precision positioning and are available in low-noise configurations ideal for these types of medical environments, such as CT scanners, MRI machines, and robotic arms for imaging adjustments.
Our customers often select our higher precision inline planetary series (<3 arc-min) for these types of applications. If the piece of equipment requires positioning that is offset or on articulating arm, we would use one of our planetary series that incorporates tapered roller bearings at the output side of the gearbox (VRS, VRT) which handle the additional radial forces.
